Sora decided to go with them to continue his journey and find Riku and Kairi. It was called traverse town Sora met people who told him about the creatures he was fighting they were called heartless and then he met Donald and Goffy who had a gummi ship that could travel to other worlds.
Sora fell in this dark hole where he woke up in a different place which he had never had seen before. Sora was separated from Riku and Kairi one was separated by darkness as the other was separated with a light heart. Sora decided to check the raft out when these mysterious creatures were appearing Sora who's chosen by the keyblade had to fight them as in Disney castle Donald and goofy got a mission from the King to team up with the chosen one. When a boy named sora and his two friends Riku and Kairi decided to build a raft and leave the island to see other world a dangerous storm hit the island in the middle of the night. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm, and the disappearance of King Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy join forces and help familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds from the Heartless. The Disney villains, enticed by the power of darkness, manipulate the Darkness to help them gather the princesses of heart, who are needed to open a mysterious final door. The three are told of ominous creatures called Heartless, being without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and are the ones responsible for the devastating storm. On their travels they meet Sora, on his own search for his lost friends.
King Mickey is missing, and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy are out to find him. At the same time, there is turmoil in the Disney Castle. The storm scatters the three to unknown worlds. Sora's world is shattered when a violent storm hits his home, and is separated from his two closest friends. When his world is destroyed and his friends mysteriously disappear, a young boy named Sora is thrust into a quest to find his missing friends and prevent the armies of darkness from destroying many other worlds.
